“ Freshness all-round. Was short on time so popped in for quick drinks. Had the melon/pineapple/lemon medley. Cold, tasty and refreshing. My partner had a glass of wine. This joint lived up to its hip ‘n cool reputation so we’ll return for the coffee, a bite and cocktails one day. Professional and cheerful service. ”
“ Arriving 8am sharp, I entered the establishment, with all tables open and a friendly waitress guiding me to my table. After looking at the menu, I ordered a Latte and a Bacon Eggs Benedict, which both got served to me within 30mins. The bacon was to well-done, making it difficult to cut or eat. But it is not the first time I’ve been here, so I know that it was most likely a trainee that was in the kitchen. Overall it was an excellent breakfast, even with well-done bacon. The Kitchen Table provides a unique dining experience in East London of all places and soon wish to try a dinner experience, if I get the chance. It’s only on Wednesdays and Fridays, I was told to book a table in advance because it comes full quickly. ”
“ Something that strikes me about the restaurants that I have visited in East London is both the quality of the food as well as the service. The Kitchen Table was no different. Our waitress Naz, was polite, professional and gave us great service. We ordered The Spicy Breakfast and also Eggs Benedict. The food was well prepared and the portions were good value for money. We also had great cappuccinos and Flat whites. Definitely a place to come and visit. ”
“ Woah this place is great! The coffee is excellent and the food is flavorful and fresh. Khanya was our service and made everything really enjoyable! ”
“ Very pleasant place. Ordered a smoked salmon salad. Wasn't expecting chicken on it as well. A big no no as I'm halaal sensitive. My friends' wings were not not cooked through. Upside, service was great. ”
“ The Kitchen Table delivers an unforgettable experience. Attended a wine dinner and the chef seamlessly paired exquisite dishes with the wines from Ataraxia. Each course is thoughtfully curated to highlight the balance and harmony of flavors, with the wines enhancing every bite. A must-visit for lovers of fine food and wine in a warm, comfy setting. ”
“ One of the best salmon Eggs Benedict breakfasts I've had. The restaurant is an intimate setup (not too many tables inside or outside). I enjoyed my seat at an outdoor table. There were a few patrons seated but I was still so surprised by how quickly I received my order. The food was fresh and tasty, the atmosphere relaxed and Tamryn, my server, was super sweet and friendly. Definitely one of East London's gems. ”
“ Exceptionally good service, delicious and well presented dinner, and great ambience for the French evening theme. Loved it. ”
